Jean-Baptiste, Founder & President of Collaborative Perks :

1. You’ll have more responsibility.

Working at a startup probably means you’re part of a small team, most likely in the single digits. Because of the nature of having such a small team, there is probably nobody else in the company who has the same skillset as you, approaches problems in the same way you do, or even thinks the same way you do.

2. You’ll be given more opportunities.

3. You’ll be able to do a lot of different things.

4. You will learn from true innovators.

5. Your work will be recognized (as will your failures).

6. You’ll work in an awesome atmosphere.

Let me count the ways:

  • I wear jeans to work. In the summer, I wear shorts and sandals.
  • If there isn’t at least one really good joke in an hour, it’s probably a slow day.
  • Everyone else who works at a startup has the same drive and excitement for creation as you do.

Jiajia, Country Project Manager China:

I like bringing this new concept of combining employee benefits and share economy together to people. It is a new approach of connecting people and enjoy the convenience on a different level.

Jean-Baptiste, Country Project Manager Australia:

  • The speed of how we can create, develop or make it happen for a customer due to internal talent
  • The mix of generation and skills set working for the benefit of the company to make it successful is pretty unique and make the experience very fascinating

Alexandre, Country Project Manager Netherlands:

I like having a flexible team that is working from all around the world. It makes the experience of building a company together very agreeable.

It is nice to supply companies with linguistic opportunities for their employees. There can never be enough access to resources when it comes to learning a new language.

Aurore, Country Project Manager France:

I like to work in an international environment. All of my – Amazing – colleagues are from a different part of the world. Moreover, in a start up, you can really see what your work bring to the company. I’m glad to be part of the Collaborative Perks’ team!

Olga, Country Project Manager Russia:

For me, working in a startup is an opportunity to reveal myself from different sides. I am a country project manager of Russia and perform completely different tasks. My work combines web marketing, journalism, oratorical skills, good computer skills, promotion and advertising of the product. For me it is an invaluable experience.

Elena, Webdesigneuse:

In a startup, my tasks are very various and my skills must be upgraded quickly, but I consider it an opportunity to improve myself, it is something I can not have if I work in other types of organizations.

Manuel, IT developer:

What I like most about my work in Collaborative Perks is that we are always developing new stuff and we try to make things as good as they can be. I also enjoy the multicultural environment because I like the people we usually get here. They are awesome and I can learn a bit of their languages and customs when they are here.

Leticia, Country manager Brasil and Spain:

Working to a startup company brings you more responsibility with regards to the success of the company. That is because usually a startup counts with a small team, and you know that you play a really important role into the company´s business. In sum, working to a startup means that you and your small team are the only people responsible for its success, bringing more eager to work hard and see the company growing.

So… what are you waiting for?
